2000 Sauvignon Blanc

1999 Semillon

1999 Cabernet Sauvignon/
Cabernet Franc

2000 Sauvignon Blanc - Top

Colour
  • Delicate Light Green Straw

Alcohol: 12.4% by volume

1999 Semillon - Top

Colour
  • Light Green.
Bouquet
  • The grapes were picked late in the season at optimum ripeness and peak condition.  The cool climate Semillon characters are dominant with good acid and gooseberry fruitiness.
Palate
  • Cold settling and cool fermentation in stainless steel preserved the flavours from the fruit, and the wine showed potential to benefit from ageing in oak.  The wine spent four months in second fill French and American barriques.  The maturity from the wood and the flavour of the oak, is in fine balance with the fruit flavour.   The result is a full flavoured palate and a long aftertaste.  This wine will improve with age.

Recommended ageing: 3-5 years for peak drinking.

Medals received - Silver & Bronze

Alcohol: 12.5% by volume
